Development Resource Center Project
At Chase Manhattan Bank, Development Resource Centers were established to provide employees with a central repository (i.e., library) for professional development materials. Each DRC provided Chase employees with a myriad of self-study materials to enhance professional development, computers (to use computer-based programs), weekly lunch-and-learn seminars, and a quite place to learn. Learning Choices
Chase Manhattan Bank created a Decision Support Tool to educate Chase learning and development professionals about the various alternative delivery mediums. The goal was to promote the development of learning solutions that used various delivery mediums, when appropriate. (Learn More...)
Lending Library Project
Chase Manhattan Bank created a task force that was tasked with implementing an outsourced lending program and piloting a self-study vending machine. Since many Chase locations did not have Development Resource Centers (DRC), the lending program provided those locations with opportunities to obtain self-study professional development materials.
