OUR PROCESS
E-Learning At Work uses the ADDIE instructional design process, but adds a step to build and test a rapid prototype. By designing and validating a prototype early in the development cycle, we are able to determine which learning activities are effective, as well as possible on the learner's computer and the client's environment.
ADDIE +
ANALYSIS
Identify gaps between existing skills and knowledge and expected outcomes. (Learn more... ) DESIGN Identify learning objectives, create design documents, design storyboards, develop assessment instruments, and last, but not least, gather the content. (Learn more...) RAPID PROTOTYPE Develop rapid prototype, perform user testing, and revise design document, if applicable. (Learn more...) DEVELOPMENT Create the learning deliverable (such as a web-based course, virtual classroom event, blended learning solution, etc.). IMPLEMENTATION Materials are delivered or distributed. EVALUATION The effectiveness of the training is evaluated. LEARNING MODEL
Along with the ADDIE design process described above, E-Learning At Work uses Experiential Learning (i.e., show me, tell me and let me try) when designing online learning solutions. We feel that for online learning providing meaningful experiences to ensure the transfer of knowledge is the best model for success.
