OUR PROCESS
E-Learning At Work uses the ADDIE instructional design process and adds a step which is building and testing a rapid prototype. By designing and validating a prototype early in the development cycle, we are able to determine which learning activities are both effective, as well as possible on the learner's computer and the client's environment.
ADDIE +
ANALYSIS
Identify gaps between existing skills and knowledge and expected outcomes. (Learn more... ) DESIGN Identify learning objectives, create design documents, design storyboards, develop assessment instruments, and last, but not least, gather the content. (Learn more...) RAPID PROTOTYPE The rapid prototype is developed, user tested, and design documents are revised based on feedback. (Learn more...) DEVELOPMENT Create the learning event (such as a web-based course, virtual classroom event, blended learning solution, etc.). IMPLEMENTATION Materials are delivered or distributed. EVALUATION The effectiveness of the training is evaluated. LEARNING MODEL
Along with the ADDIE design process described above, E-Learning At Work uses Experiential Learning (i.e., show me, tell me and let me try) when designing online learning solutions. We feel that for online learning providing meaningful experiences to ensure the transfer of knowledge is the best model for success.
